Aikido Yoshinkan: Instructor Requirements, by Kyoichi Inoue, presents all of the major technical requirements for instructor certification as outlined by the Yoshinkan Aikido Headquarters in Tokyo. The footage for was shot between July 10 and July 13, 2003, when Inoue Kancho visited the headquarters of Aikido Yoshinkai Canada in Toronto for a series of 6 clinics.
Throughout this special training, Inoue Kancho focused on the Yoshinkan Hombu Dojo’s testing requirements for Instructor Certification. He outlined each of the various technical and other aspects to this stringent certification process. He also gave meticulous demonstrations and instructions on the basic techniques required for certification. All of his teachings were captured and are presented here for the first time. This DVD is a ‘must have’ for anyone interested in Yoshinkan Aikido!
Aikido Yoshinkan: Instructor Requirements is a precise and easily understood instructional DVD. Anyone interested in Yoshinkan Aikido will quickly be able to follow the important points presented by Inoue Kancho. Throughout his teaching, Inoue Kancho clearly demonstrates each of the aspects that make the techniques of Yoshinkan Aikido so effective. Inoue Kancho is the first person since the passing of Gozo Shioda to hold the title ‘Kancho’ within the Yoshinkan. As such, he is uniquely qualified to present these requirements for Instructor Certification.
What is Everything Else?
Everything Else is a product category on Amazon that is meant to be a catch-all for items that don’t fit into any other categories. Over time, as the Amazon catalog has grown and more specific product categories have been added, Everything Else has become less useful and more of a junkyard for cast off and forgotten listings.
Until recently, however.
Why are items listed in Everything Else when they shouldn’t be?
The answer to this is fairly simple. Some sellers are using Everything Else as an opportunity to get around Amazon’s gated category requirements. For example, DVDs with an MSRP of over $25 are now gated Selling certain products and bran… More and require permission to list. So we’ve seen some sellers create new listings in Everything Else to get around these requirements. We’ve noticed similar “workarounds” for other gated or restricted Selling certain product categorie… More categories as well.
Amazon doesn’t like this. It just makes the catalog more of a mess than it already is and ends up creating a worse customer experience.
