MORIHEI UESHIBA & HAKUDO NAKAYAMA
Morihei Ueshiba (founder of Aikido) and Hakudo Nakamura (Kendo, Iaido, and Jodo hanshi) were martial art legends of the meiji era in Japan and both shared a mutual appreciation and respect of each other.
This DVD features rare prewar footage of both masters at their best! Nakamura can be seen practicing Iaido, Jodo, and tameshigiri. Ueshiba can be seen at length in his 1935 demonstration and also clips of demonstrations in his 80’s.
