Yasuhisa SHIODA est le fils de Gozo SHIODO. Il est né en 1952 à Saitama. En 1965, il commence son apprentissage de l’Aikido. En 1976 après ses études en économies à l’université de Chuo, il commence à enseigner dans des universités, au départements de police et dans des clubs d’entreprises. Entre 1984 et 1987, il développe l’Aikido Yoshinkan en Angleterre. Aujourd’hui, il enseigne au Yoshinkan Dojo de Takadanobaba dont il occupe le poste de directeur.
